The European Committee 2025 of JECI-MIEC took place in Madrid, Spain, from 2nd to 5th October 2025. The event brought together fifteen delegates from National Movements across Europe to discuss, reflect, and vote on key matters shaping the activities and direction of the European Coordination. The discussions focused on strengthening the movement’s foundation through a newly adopted Code of Conduct and the approval of orientation guidelines for 2025–2028, which define priorities in spiritual growth, social engagement, organisational development, and personal action.

Roshan Melwyn Lobo, Secretary General of IYCS-JECI, also participated in the Committee, contributing to the exchanges and sharing insights from the global coordination of the movement. His presence added an international perspective, fostering closer collaboration between European and international structures in advancing the mission of empowering young Catholic students.

During the meeting, elections were held for the new European Coordination Team. Hannah Plückhahn (BKKH Germany) was elected as the new European Coordinator, supported by Jan Krawczyk (KIK Poland)Alessandra (FUCI Italy), and Noah (BKKH Germany) as members of the European Team. The new Board will officially begin their mandate on January 1, 2026.

The Committee also served as an important moment of reflection and renewal, offering participants the chance to share updates on 2024 initiatives, brainstorm new projects, and strengthen the sense of unity and commitment within the JECI-MIEC movement.
