Agathe Mossane SAGNE is my name and I am a Senegalese by nationality, I come from a strong Catholic family with 7 siblings. My journey with the young catholic students (YCS) started with my admission in high school in 2000. Thus, having been responsible for my section (2003), then federal secretary in charge of training and cadets (2004), I joined YCS National Team of Senegal in 2007. From being Secretary in charge of Information, communication and documentation, I ended up being responsible for projects and programs after being in charge training at national Level. However, my first years in the national team were accompanied by active involvement with YCS at the university level. After so many years of active participation, the YCS School of life has taught me a lot, it gave me everything. All these years of commitments has allowed me to shape my personality; to learn how to accept others in their difference; to give my best for concrete action with YCS; to improve my teamwork skill and to be rigorous. I thank the Lord our God who has allowed me to discover and develop myself in this exemplary movement that focuses on accountability in action. Today my determination to serve this movement is flawless. At the Pan-African level where I am currently serving, will give me ground where I can help in addressing the challenges facing all young people in Africa. My dream is to see all the young pupils and students, without difference of race and religion, working together for a more just and humane world. If I may quote one African proverb which says: If you want to go fast walk alone, but if you want to go far, walk with others! Therefore working with others is our credo since we are intended to go far in this journey!!
