In the light of migration phenomenon as well as debates and policy measures which seem to accompany it, IYCS in achieving its Global campaign "FIGHT POVERTY - BUILD PEACE ' with the support of CCFD-Terre Solidaire, has initiated a training and awareness building program for its members in Peru and Bolivia during the whole month of May 2010. Through training sessions, discussion groups, and workshops, International Migration and its Challenges were discussed and reviewed for and by students in Lima and Arequipa (Peru), as well as with JEC/MUC Bolivia members in four different cities.

Young Students Movement (YCS/YSM) in Mangalore Diocese organized office bearers training programme held on 26 June 2010 at Shanthi Kiran Bajjodi, Mangalore on “Leadership”. 238 students’ leaders from 30 schools attended this training programme that was conducted by Mr. Norbert Misquith, Mr. Arun SIddakatte, Fr. Ronald D'souza, and Mr. Rohan Pereira as the resource persons. India will attend the International program of IYCS in Burkina Faso from 15 to 25 August 2010 under the theme: “Quality Education for Leadership Building and Good Governance!”
